How It Works

Install TwistlyCells from the Microsoft AppSource add-in store. Once activated, it appears as a panel inside Excel. You interact with it through custom formulas in your cells or through the assistant panel. For formula generation, describe what calculation you need in English and TwistlyCells writes the Excel formula. For data tasks, select your data range and tell the AI what to do: clean it, categorize it, translate it, extract specific fields, or summarize it. The AI processes your request and writes results directly into your spreadsheet. The Starter plan handles OpenAI billing for you with included credits. The Pro plan lets you plug in your own OpenAI API key, so you pay OpenAI directly for usage. This gives power users more control over costs and model selection. Team plans add user management and centralized billing.
