How It Works

Users start by describing their app idea in plain language. Frontly's AI generation feature interprets the description and scaffolds a working app, including pages, layouts, and data connections. Users can then edit every element using the no-code visual editor, which uses row and column layout blocks to arrange components. Data sources are connected by linking the app to Google Sheets, Supabase, Airtable, or Frontly's built-in database. Once connected, the platform reads and writes records through operations, which are counted each time the app views, creates, updates, or deletes a record. Users can import existing data structures and the AI will generate an appropriate app interface around them. Apps are shareable as client portals or internal tools, and paid plans support custom branding with a custom domain. The Professional plan also unlocks API access for deeper integrations.
